The aim of the BSc Pharmacology programme is to train middle level manpower in the area of drug development so as to fill in the gaps in the pharmaceutical industry, research institutes, and as trainers in the college of medicine, college of pharmacy, school of nursing and allied health sciences. The objectives are to train students to become:
Scientists and researchers in health-related industries
Skilled health care workers in pharmaceutical industries in the area of drug development
Have broad knowledge of pharmacologists who will be able to specialize in different areas of the field.
Future pharmacology teachers in the University most especially in the School of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, School of Nursing and in other disciplines allied to health sciences.
The programme will be sufficiently broad-based to lead to the production of graduates who will be able to perform the following functions:

The University wishes to inform you that the End-of -Year Break for all students will commence on 15th December,2024.In line with this, all students are expected to vacate their halls of residence and the University premises and proceed on Vacation.
We kindly request that you make all necessary arrangements for transportation to ensure your wards leave the campus promptly.
