REPORT OF ACCREDITATION
AND QUALITY ASSURANCE UNIT
The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Unit was set up at the inception of the University in January 2010 with the following mandate.
Execution of Mandate
The unit has been carrying out the mandate given it from time to time. The annual work on Teaching Methodology is been organized on a regular basis. The 2016/2017 workshop is holding in February 2017. The representative of the NUC, UNESCO, JAMB and some Polytechnics and Universities has been active participants in previous editions of the workshop.
The evaluation of staff by students is been carried out every semester since the inception of the University. The samples of students’ evaluation are available for verification. The reports are been used during Annual Assessment of staff.
The unit is headed by an experience Professor and Former Vice-Chancellor from a public University.
Memberships of the unit are drawn from all the Colleges of University.

The University wishes to inform you that the End-of -Year Break for all students will commence on 15th December,2024.In line with this, all students are expected to vacate their halls of residence and the University premises and proceed on Vacation.
We kindly request that you make all necessary arrangements for transportation to ensure your wards leave the campus promptly.
As we wish your family a joyful and restful holiday, the University Council and the entire Management extend warm greetings for a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Please note that students are expected to resume on Saturday,4th January 2025, and academic activities will commence on Monday, 6th January 2025.
