The College of Law, Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti, is a uniquely serene learning environment where students and staff stretch each other’ s imagination by asking questions and challenging assumptions, in accordance with the great vision of the University’s Founder, Aare Afe Babalola, SAN, OFR, LL.D. The core function of the College is to train all-round law students, with the highest standard of integrity, professional ethics, and outstanding character. Students are also exposed to the practical aspects of the profession and the need for pro bono services for indigent citizens.
The academic staff are seasoned scholars, of national and international repute, who employ the contemporary methods of teaching in legal education. Students are exposed to the problem-solving situation, thus, developing a capacity for analytical and critical thinking. The modern I.C.T. facilities further provide a most conducive environment for learning, knowledge acquisition, and participation in national and global discourse on diverse subjects.
The law programme trains students to use the law as a tool for the resolution of various social, economic, and political conflicts in the society.
Our mission is to produce world-class legal professionals capable of efficiently solving problems not only through orthodox methods but more especially, through dynamic innovative Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR), using the College Law Clinic as a platform.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
The University wishes to inform you that the End-of -Year Break for all students will commence on 15th December,2024.In line with this, all students are expected to vacate their halls of residence and the University premises and proceed on Vacation.
We kindly request that you make all necessary arrangements for transportation to ensure your wards leave the campus promptly.
As we wish your family a joyful and restful holiday, the University Council and the entire Management extend warm greetings for a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Please note that students are expected to resume on Saturday,4th January 2025, and academic activities will commence on Monday, 6th January 2025.
