In appreciation of his philanthropic deeds that traverse the entire parts of Nigeria and thoughtfulness at establishing a university in Ekiti State, Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, ABUAD, a non government organization, known as Ultimate Group, at Ilupeju Ekiti, under the Chairmanship of Prince Amusat Rasak, on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, presented Artistic Works (moldings and paintings) carefully finished with great artistry to the Founder, ABUAD, Aare Afe Babalola.
The Group donated 10 different art works consisting of moldings and paintings impeccably designed by Prince Amusat Lateef and Mr. Ogunyemi Gbenga. According to them, “we were motivated to design these to honour Baba because he brought the University to Ekiti State, and with that we love him”. The moldings and paintings depict the legal attributes of Aare Afe Babalola.
The Vice Chancellor, Afe Babalola University, Prof. Sidi Osho, who received the artistic works in her office on behalf of Aare Afe Babalola, expressed her heart-felt gratitude while the University Bursar, Pastor Modupe Babalola, who was at the presentation, took time to pray for the group.
