ANOTHER HONOUR FOR AARE

The Founder/President Emeritus of the world class, fastest growing Private University in Nigeria, Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti, Aare Afe Babalola is to be honoure again on Wednesday, 5th of December, 2012. This time it is the turn of Education Society of Nigeria, to confer an Award of Excellence on the promoter of transformatory University education in Nigeria. In a statement released by the President of the Association Prof (Mrs.) Alice Arinlade Jekayinfa, the ceremony which holds at the Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, is to show appreciation to Aare for his outstanding contributions to the growth and development of Education in the country. The occasion which is part of a four day Annual Conference will feature a keynote address to be delivered by the Life Patron of the History of Education Society, Prof Michael Omolewa. Six other eminent Nigerians will also be honoured at the occasion. They are the secretary: 1. The secretary to the Kogi State Government and former Secretary of the Association of African Universities, Professor Olugbemiro Jegede 2. The former Hon Minister of Education, Professor Mrs. Chinwe Obaji. 3. The former Provost of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education and current Lagos State Electoral Commission, Dr. A.L.Ogunmola 4. The Provost, FCE, Okene Associate Prof. Ajayi Iyela 5. Mr. John D. Imam, Test Development Department, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, Abuja and 6.
