The Vice-President of MacArthur Foundation, Professor Arthur M. Sussman today delivered the first Founders Day Distinguished Personality Lecture. The lecture titled “The Private University and American Higher Education” drew from the American experience to show how ABUAD can lead the education sector in tertiary education in Nigeria. The Guest Lecturer, a Professor of Law and international education at University of Chicago stated that with the track record of the Founder of the University in building uncommon and enduring legacies and by the level of commitment and resources invested in ABUAD its future is already guaranteed as a leader in tertiary education in Nigeria. The Guest lecturer was earlier in the day conferred with a Chieftaincy title by the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adijuigbe, Aladesanmi III.
