Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, has paid a special visit to the Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti. The former president was pleasantly surprised by the level of infrastructural and human resource development in the University after touring the state-of-the-art facilities and interacting with some of the staff. According to him “I am happy to be able to see at first hand a unique sample of private University with finesse, purpose, commitment, and self sacrifice by the proprietor… more institutions like this will change the panorama of tertiary institution and education in Nigeria. It is a model to emulate”.
