The Banking and Finance Programme in the College of Social and Management Sciences has received pre-accreditation.
In a letter, dated May 27, 2011, signed by the Registrar/Chief Executive, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Uju M. Ogubunka; forwarded to the Institution, Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, the Team from CIBN stated thus:”Consequent upon a favourable report of our visit of August 26-27, 2010, on a Pre-Accreditation exercise of the Banking and Finance Department of your Institution, we are pleased to inform you that the Education Committee of the Governing Council is so far satisfied with the quality of facilities, staffing and the curriculum of your banking programme.
We are however, hopeful that the Institute shall be duly invited for a full accreditation exercise of the programme as required, as soon as the department matures to the 400 level.
Meanwhile, we wish to seize this opportunity to acknowledge all the good works already put in place by the Founder and your leadership of the management and pray that God would continue to guide the Institution to greater heights”.
