Afe Babalola University hosts All Nigerian Law Students!

Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti has hosted the Maiden edition of the National Conference of All Nigerian Law Students. The event which took place between 7th and 10th July 2010 was well attended by the members from different Universities in Nigeria.  The Conference was fully sponsored by the founder, Aare Afe Babalola, SAN and the University. The conference has been described as a huge success as prominent members of the legal profession like Are Afe Babalola, Chief Mike Ahamba, Chief, Lawal Rabanna, among many others graced the occasion. At the end of the conference the students were very happy and grateful to the University and the founder, who they have come to see as providing the much needed platform and support for rallying Nigerian law students together for better promotion of their common future and that of the country in general.

Many of the students spoke about their experience in the University during the 4-day programme, some of which are presented here:

Nwabuokei C. Justice “Wow! What a spectacle to behold. ABUAD is a rebirth of a modern institution in Africa. I have never seen such a structure in any Nigerian institution. Maybe, other institutions of higher learning should take a cue from ABUAD”.

Akogun Fatai Oluwatayo: ABUAD is our Harvard University in Africa. Afe Babalola University is a citadel of knowledge in Africa. I came, I saw and I conquered in the three days seminar held at the ABUAD by the National Association of Law Students in 2010. Our mentor, Aare of Yoruba Land Chief Afe Babalola has written his name in gold and we are proud of the living legend who is a glory producer and epitome of success, a legal colossus and a philanthropist who purposely built this great University to help millions of dreams to come true…”
