Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti gives entry opportunities to both the candidates who chose ABUAD and those who did not choose it in the UTME Registration, but intend to change their choice of Institution to Afe Babalola University.

Candidates who intend to seek admission to Afe Babalola University but had not chosen it in UTME registration are however required to:

i)                   Obtain a Change of Institution Form at designated selling Centres along with the Post UTME Screeenig Form

ii)                 Sastify a Post-UTME Screening Exercise

GENERAL INFORMATION

Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) situated in Ado Ekiti is a non profit, Federal Government licensed private University. All programmes offered in ABUAD are approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The University is fully residential for all Students and Staff.

ii. Admission into ABUAD for Non Direct Entry Candidates is subject to successful passing of the UTME examination and the Post-UTME screening.

Candidates who did not choose Afe-Babalola University (ABUAD) in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are also qualified to participate in the Post UTME screening of the University and contact the Registrar.

PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMME (9 Months)

Admission Requirements:

Candidates must possess a minimum of five [5] 'O' level credit   passes at one sitting or six [6] 'O' level credit passes at not more than two sittings in  SSCE/GCE/NECO Examinations which must include credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and other subjects relevant to course of study.

 

DEGREE FOUNDATION PROGRAMME (12 Months)

Admission Requirements:

Candidates must possess a minimum of five [5] 'O' level credit passes at one sitting in SSCE/GCE/NECO Examinations which must include credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and other subjects relevant to course of study.
